Crucible Sites · Websites for local businesses

Your business deserves a website that actually looks good.

We design and build fast, beautiful websites for local businesses. Live in about a week.

Before / After

Same business. Different decade.

Drag the handle. Same services, same phone number. One of these gets the call.

Concept homepage for a fictional landscaping company: deep green hills illustration and a free estimate button.
A dated small-business website: tiled background, cramped table layout, tiny blue links and a visitor counter.
BeforeAfter

Illustrative mock. Both versions are a fictional business, not a real client.

Who you’ll work with

Hi, I’m Jacob Schopp.

I started Crucible Sites because the businesses that make a town worth living in usually have the worst websites in it.

I design and build every site myself, and you talk to me directly, from the first call to launch day. No account managers, no handoffs.

Talk soon, Jacob.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How long does it take?

Most sites go live in about a week. You’ll see a first draft in roughly three days, then we refine it together over two rounds of edits.

Do I own the site?

Yes. Once it’s paid for, the site and its content are yours, and your domain stays in your name. If you ever leave, you take everything with you.

What about my domain?

If you already have one, we’ll point it at your new site. If not, we’ll help you choose one and register it in your name.

Can I edit it myself?

Yes, if you want to. We’ll show you how to make simple changes like hours, prices and photos. If you’d rather not touch it, monthly care covers edits for you.

What does monthly care include?

Hosting, updates and small edits each month, like new hours, menu changes or fresh photos. One flat monthly price, confirmed in your quote.

How do I pay?

After you approve your design, we’ll send payment details with your quote.
